- This game is based on an old DOS classic, but this time, with a Mario twist!
- Yoshi Tanks was actually scrapped back in 2012. After rediscovering the source file a year later, Hello Fangaming decided to port it to GameMaker: Studio, finish it up, and release it.
- This is Hello Fangaming's first widescreen game, and Hello Fangaming's only game to feature the 512x288 resolution.
- This is Hello Fangaming's final standalone minigame release.
